This role is crucial for supporting the daily administrative operations of the firm, enabling the legal team to focus on client needs. As an intern, you will contribute to the firm’s commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and client-focused service, gaining valuable insight into the day-to-day workings of a professional law office.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Document Preparation: Prepare and format legal and administrative documents, ensuring high accuracy in typing materials.
• Records Management: Organize and maintain both physical and electronic filing systems and records.
• Administrative Support: Perform data entry, handle incoming and outgoing mail, and maintain basic office organization.
• Front-Desk Assistance: Assist with front-desk duties, including answering phones and routing messages professionally.
• Office Coordination: Support attorneys and staff with general office tasks, such as scheduling appointments and updating case files.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High school diploma or equivalent; an interest in law, legal administration, or office management.
• Experience: Experience with word processing and document formatting tools, as well as clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping.
• Skills: Strong typing skills with high accuracy and attention to detail; proficiency with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and standard office equipment; effective written and verbal communication, including professional phone etiquette; ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
• Bonus: Prior office or administrative experience is helpful; current students in college or vocational programs related to legal studies, business, or administration are encouraged.
