What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Prepare recurring financial reports, P&L analysis, and schedules to support business unit reviews and management reporting, identifying key variances, trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Accounting Support: Assist with the month-end close process, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, accruals, reclasses, and supporting documentation, while resolving close-related questions.
• Project & Process Improvement: Support finance-related projects, including reporting improvements, system enhancements, and automation, by building financial models and performing ROI and cost savings analysis.
• Business Partnering: Develop an understanding of assigned business units and their performance drivers, providing responsive support to internal customers and escalating risks or opportunities to leadership.
• Cash Flow Assistance: Assist with cash forecasting, payment tracking, and working capital reporting, including analysis of cash receipts, vendor payments, and payroll impacts.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline, with a foundational understanding of accounting principles, month-end close, journal entries, and financial statements.
• Experience: 2–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, financial analysis, FP&A, or a related role.
• Skills: Strong Excel skills, including the ability to work with large data sets, formulas, pivots, and recurring reporting files; ability to prepare accurate analysis and clearly explain variances or trends; strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in reporting cycles; comfortable supporting multiple projects, recurring tasks, and ad hoc requests.
• Bonus: Experience with ERP, BI, dashboarding, or reporting tools preferred.
