US Investment Analyst Intern | FACT Capital
The Tone:
This is a internship at FACT Capital, located remotely. FACT Capital is a global long-short hedge fund that provides hands-on public equities investing and research experience. The role is critical for students looking to gain practical experience in fundamental investing and market analysis within a professional setting.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Model financial projections: Develop and refine financial models for public companies.
• Conduct investment analysis: Perform comprehensive investment analysis, including primary and secondary due diligence checks.
• Source expert insights: Identify, source, and engage with industry experts relevant to FACT’s key sectors of interest and investment themes.
• Execute primary research: Design and conduct primary research activities such as quantitative recurring surveys, short-form questionnaires, and long-form discussions.
• Cultivate network relationships: Build and maintain relationships with our network of contacts and topic experts.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level college or postgraduate student with a strong interest or prior experience in finance and market research.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and independently, coupled with a commitment to following through on commitments with high work quality and consistency of effort.
• Skills: Strong communication and research skills, capable of project management and external outreach, and possesses a high degree of integrity.
• Bonus: Basic understanding of accounting and public company financial statements, including the ability to read annual reports and comprehend how the three statements flow into each other.
