Analyst I or II – Real Estate Investment Banking | Truist

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Truist, located in Atlanta, GA. Truist provides comprehensive financial services, including client relationship management and investment banking solutions to real estate clients, encompassing strategic advisory, M&A, and capital raising. This role is crucial for supporting the delivery of these essential investment banking services, directly contributing to client success and the firm’s strategic objectives within the real estate sector. The Analyst will play a key role in various transactional activities, ensuring the smooth execution of financial advisory and capital market mandates.

• Team: Reports to senior RECIB and CIB professionals, contributing as a member of M&A and capital raising transaction teams.
• Mission: To provide essential analytical, research, and transactional support for strategic advisory services and capital raising activities for real estate clients.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Collaborate: Work closely with senior Real Estate Investment Banking (RECIB) and Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) professionals on various engagements.
• Perform: Conduct assigned duties with a degree of independence, including due diligence, document processing, financial modeling, statistical analysis, and research.
• Develop: Create and refine presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute: Serve as a member of merger and acquisition and capital raising transaction teams, providing critical credit underwriting support.
• Draft: Prepare information memoranda and develop management and investor presentations for active transactions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
• Experience: Some related work experience since graduating from an undergraduate program.
• Skills: Proven analytical ability and attention to detail, strong written and oral communication skills, solid leadership and interpersonal capabilities, and a proven ability to perform well in a team-oriented setting.
• Bonus: 1 year of related work experience since graduation from an undergraduate program.
