Senior Analyst, Capital Markets & Corporate Development | Lambda

The Tone:
This is a full-time, hybrid role at Lambda, located in San Francisco or New York City, requiring four days per week in the office. Lambda, a 500+ employee organization founded in 2012, leads in AI cloud infrastructure, serving a wide range of customers from AI researchers to hyperscalers. The company’s mission is to make compute as ubiquitous as electricity, empowering everyone with superintelligence. As Lambda undergoes rapid growth, this position is critical for expanding the capital markets and corporate development functions. This Senior Analyst will play a key part in managing the end-to-end acquisition and strategic investment activities, collaborating cross-functionally to identify opportunities and execute transactions that support the company’s long-term vision.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategic Transaction Support: Support the identification, evaluation, and execution of M&A, strategic investments, and capital raises (debt and equity) to accelerate growth and strengthen Lambda’s position.
• Financial Analysis & Due Diligence: Lead comprehensive financial modeling, valuation analysis, capital structure analysis, and due diligence for all M&A, investment, and financing activities.
• Strategic & Financial Communication: Conduct strategic and financial evaluations of opportunities, communicating findings through business case memos, financing materials, and executive presentations.
• Market Intelligence & Strategy: Track industry trends, competitive dynamics, capital markets, and market opportunities to inform corporate development and financing strategies.
• Strategic Partnership Cultivation: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships to enhance product offerings, distribution channels, and technology, fostering relationships with financial sponsors, lenders, and investors.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior level professional with 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, private credit, or venture capital.
• Experience: Required experience includes building company models, merger models, or project finance/debt financing, ideally with a focus on AI, cloud infrastructure, debt capital markets, and/or restructuring.
• Skills: Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills; strategic thinking to synthesize market data into actionable insights; excellent presentation and communication abilities.
• Bonus: Deep interest in AI, cloud infrastructure, and emerging technology trends, with prior experience in the machine learning or GPU computing space being a strong plus.
