Associate, Investments (Energy) | Brookfield

The Tone:

This Investment Associate will be an integral contributor to the evaluation and execution of significant investment opportunities across Brookfield’s managed funds and portfolio companies, supporting critical growth initiatives in renewable power and sustainable solutions. What You’ll Actually Do
• Model: Build financial models, valuation analyses, and investment materials to support transaction evaluation and decision-making.
• Research: Conduct company, sector, and market research to assess investment theses, trends, risks, value drivers, and transaction outcomes.
• Coordinate: Coordinate with internal teams, portfolio companies, operating partners, and external advisors in support of due diligence workstreams.
• Plan: Support post-investment business planning, value creation, and decarbonization initiatives.
• Present: Prepare presentation materials and transaction documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Early career professional with a strong interest in investing and the global energy transition, particularly in energy, infrastructure, and industrials.
• Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, infrastructure investing, or a related field.
• Skills: Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills; Strong communication skills; Sound commercial judgment and attention to detail; Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Demonstrated ability and desire to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Bonus: Experience in energy, power, infrastructure, industrials, or project finance.
