What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Analysis: Systematically collects and analyzes financial data from various sources, including financial statements, market trends, and economic indicators.
• Performance Modeling: Conducts comprehensive financial modeling and forecasting to assess the company’s current financial standing and project future performance.
• Financial Reporting: Prepares essential financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and detailed variance analyses.
• Strategic Planning Support: Assists in the development of organizational budgets, financial plans, and key strategic initiatives.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitors and tracks financial performance against established goals and targets, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, suitable for an early-career professional.
• Experience: A minimum of zero to two years of relevant professional experience. This includes the ability to obtain and maintain required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment, and property.
• Skills: Demonstrated capability in financial data collection and analysis, financial modeling and forecasting, and preparing comprehensive financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and variance analyses. Proficiency in developing budgets and financial plans, along with the ability to research industry trends and market conditions, is also essential. Must also possess any appropriate level of certifications as required for the role.
