• Mission: Support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and operational decision-making for a manufacturing organization.
• Tech Stack: Macola ERP system, Power BI, commission management software, Microsoft Excel, AI tools (Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, other generative AI applications)
What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly financial and operational reports.
• Cost Analysis: Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, labor, material usage, and production variances to identify trends and recommendations.
• Planning & Forecasting: Support monthly financial close, account reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning processes.
• Commission Management: Maintain and update commission software, ensuring accurate commission calculations and reporting, while resolving discrepancies.
• Data & AI Utilization: Extract, validate, and analyze data from the ERP system and utilize AI-powered tools to improve reporting, automate tasks, and enhance financial analysis.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience: No specific years required, but a strong foundation in finance or accounting is essential, ideally complemented by internship or prior experience in manufacturing, finance, accounting, or business analysis.
• Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, keen attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to prioritize multiple assignments.
• Bonus: Experience with ERP systems (Macola a plus), familiarity with Microsoft Power BI or other business intelligence tools, experience using AI tools for research or productivity, and a basic understanding of manufacturing accounting concepts.
