The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Molson Coors, located in Chicago. Molson Coors is transforming the beverage industry with a portfolio of beer, seltzers, spirits, and non-alcohol brands, building on a proud legacy of excellence and a bold vision for the future. This Financial Analyst position is a key finance business partner to the Innovation team, supporting decision-making and driving execution of Innovation projects. The role requires individuals who are curious, tenacious, and willing to learn from experience.

• Team: Reports to the Sr Finance Manager – Media/Innovation. Works with the Innovation team, finance peers, project management team, and supply chain team.
• Mission: This person develops and manages budgets, forecasts, and business cases for North America Innovation projects while partnering with the Innovation team.
• Tech Stack: SAP (preferred), Excel
What You’ll Actually Do
• Budget Management: Partner with the Innovation team to develop and manage the annual budget for Innovation projects.
• Financial Reporting: Own the Innovation month-end close, financial forecast, and budget tracking processes.
• Financial Guidance: Use accounting principles and knowledge of internal controls to provide the Innovation team with objective, timely, and accurate financial reporting.
• Business Case Development: Develop North America Innovation business cases through cross-functional collaboration on all assumptions.
• Process Oversight: Shepherd business cases through the START process to achieve approval for each step.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent applicable experience.
• Experience: 2 or more years of Finance experience.
• Skills: Strong Excel proficiency, experience with financial software, strong finance acumen, and the ability to provide insights to improve business profitability.
• Bonus: Expresses ideas clearly, concisely, and effectively; listens to and responds appropriately to others; takes accountability for results; thrives in a collaborative environment with the ability to act and react with speed even if limited information is available.
