The Tone:
This is a role at VIAVI Solutions, a global provider of network test, monitoring, and assurance solutions, as well as a leader in light management technologies for various applications. This position is crucial for supporting the Global Finance Operations team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial reporting, analysis, and insights across manufacturing operations, procurement, logistics, and supply chain functions. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to assist in financial planning, reporting, and operational analysis, contributing directly to informed decision-making within the company.

• Mission: Deliver high-quality financial reporting, analysis, and insights across manufacturing operations, procurement, logistics, and supply chain functions.
• Tech Stack: Oracle 12 (including OBIEE and Project Accounting), Hyperion Planning, Essbase, Tableau, Excel

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting: Prepare monthly financial reports, including site-level P&Ls and variance analysis.
• Analysis: Provide insights on cost trends and variances against forecasts and plans.
• Forecasting: Support the development and maintenance of the manufacturing variance forecast model.
• Business Partnering: Collaborate with operational and engineering teams to deliver financial insights.
• Financial Management: Support comprehensive inventory reporting and working capital analysis.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• Experience: 0–1 years of relevant experience.
• Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel, strong communication and interpersonal skills, a robust analytical and problem-solving mindset, and attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Bonus: Familiarity with Oracle 12 (including OBIEE and Project Accounting), Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and Tableau.
