What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Conduct monthly financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis.
• Month-End Close: Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis.
• AP and Inventory Management: Support accounts payable processes, monitor purchase orders and goods receipts, and conduct inventory accounting activities.
• Performance Analysis: Analyze financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior year results.
• Cross-functional Partnership: Partner with accounting, procurement, operations, and supply chain teams to support business objectives and internal controls.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent is required, suitable for an early career professional.
• Experience: 1–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, accounts payable, or a related analytical role, with demonstrated experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or accounting processes.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling.
• Bonus: Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools, exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, and manufacturing, supply chain, or operational finance experience.
