This is a full-time role at a reputable, well-established, and industry-leading company located in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Venteon is seeking a Financial Analyst to join this employer of choice. This position is critical for providing essential financial analysis and support to production operations, ensuring accurate cost tracking, budgeting, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement within the manufacturing environment. The Financial Analyst will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity and supporting strategic decision-making through data-driven insights.

• Mission: This person will own the analysis of production costs, the tracking of manufacturing variances, and the support of budgeting and forecasting processes to drive cost improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Cost Analysis: Analyze all aspects of production costs, including labor, materials, and overhead expenditures, to provide clear financial insights.
• Variance Reporting: Track and meticulously report manufacturing variances related to price, usage, volume, and efficiency, while comparing actual results to budget/forecast and explaining any discrepancies.
• Budget & Forecast Support: Support the development of annual operating budgets and rolling forecasts specifically for production departments.
• Data Accuracy & Reporting: Ensure the accuracy of production financial data within ERP and reporting systems, and prepare recurring financial reports and dashboards for production leadership.
• Partnership & Improvement: Partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams to understand key cost drivers, identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost improvement, and support continuous improvement initiatives with data-driven analysis.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. This is an early career role, suitable for candidates with 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience: Requires 0-2 years of experience in manufacturing accounting. Candidates should possess experience with inventory costing, job costing, or work-in-process (WIP) accounting.
• Skills: A good understanding of financial (ERP) systems is essential. Strong Excel skills are also required for data analysis and reporting.
