Summer Intern 2027 | CF Private Equity
The Tone:
This is an internship at CF Private Equity, located in Norwalk, CT and New York, NY. CF Private Equity constructs portfolios that include primary fund investments and co-investments, building global programs as well as geographically focused programs across the U.S., Europe, and other international markets. The firm targets small to middle market managers, believing this segment offers less competition and more attractive valuations, and seeks to partner with managers that are capacity-constrained or otherwise difficult to access. This role is crucial for supporting the investment team through diligent research, analysis, and direct involvement in the due diligence process, contributing to key investment decisions for both primary fund and co-investments.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Investment Due Diligence: Support the investment due diligence process by participating in calls, synthesizing data, and preparing internal and external memos and presentations.
• Research & Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify and assess potential investment opportunities in buyouts and growth equity markets.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with investment professionals and teams to support deal execution and informed investment decision-making.
• Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of investment transactions, documents, and correspondence.
• Special Projects: Undertake special projects as assigned by the team.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level, targeting university juniors with foundational coursework in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management.
• Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel for quantitative analysis.
• Skills: Strong analytical abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Bonus: A strong academic record (GPA).
