Senior Analyst, Finance and M&A | hireneXus

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at hireneXus, operating remotely with travel for acquisition diligence and integration. hireneXus is a private equity-backed consumer services organization that is scaling through organic growth and strategic acquisitions. As the company’s first dedicated financial planning and analysis resource, this individual will partner directly with the CFO. The role is critical for building essential financial planning and reporting infrastructure, supporting strategic acquisitions, and providing insights to guide business decisions as the company expands.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages for executive leadership, board, lenders, and operational KPI analysis.
• Forecasting & Budgeting: Support the annual budgeting process, periodic forecasting, and variance analysis, linking operational performance to financial results.
• M&A Support: Maintain the acquisition pipeline by tracking opportunities, updating deal models, and assisting with transaction prioritization, financial due diligence, and integration tracking.
• Analytics & Insights: Develop and maintain KPI reporting, dashboards, and financial analytics that provide leadership with timely, actionable business insights.
• Process Improvement: Partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting processes, data quality, and system capabilities, gathering and validating data from multiple sources.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in investment banking, FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, transaction advisory, or a finance role with significant analytical responsibilities. Exposure to mergers and acquisitions, financial due diligence, or post-acquisition integration.
• Skills: Strong financial modeling and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze, manipulate, and present financial and operational data effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings to senior leadership.
• Bonus: Experience within a private equity-backed, multi-site, or acquisitive organization. Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI, SQL, or Power Query. Progress toward a CPA, CFA, or other relevant professional designation.
