• Team: The Alternatives team, with this role dual-focused between client solutions (60%) and alternatives research (40%).

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Relationship Support: Support the Alternatives team with client-related initiatives, including monitoring existing client portfolios and creating presentation materials for both discretionary and advisory clients.
• Quantitative Analysis & Solutions: Perform quantitative analyses such as portfolio pacing, and support the development of new client solution ideas and ad hoc client-related requests.
• Private Markets Investment Evaluation: Actively contribute to the alternatives research team by evaluating private markets investment opportunities, specifically private equity, private credit, and real assets, primarily in North America.
• Deal Team Participation & Transaction Assessment: Participate as a key member in 3–4 person deal teams to assess various investment transactions, including fund investments (primaries), co-investments, and secondaries.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a Bachelor’s degree along with a foundational understanding of the private markets industry.
• Experience: Demonstrate high proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Copilot, for data analysis and presentation development. This role requires an interest in both client service and investment activities, alongside a collaborative approach to working effectively with colleagues across all levels and global teams.
• Skills: Possess excellent analytical capabilities, encompassing both quantitative and qualitative methods, coupled with strong business and investment acumen. Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas with precision and conviction to various stakeholders. Exhibit a self-starter mindset, being independent, hardworking, and results-oriented, alongside an entrepreneurial bent and a “roll-up-the-sleeves” orientation.
• Bonus: Familiarity with marketable alternatives, such as liquid alternatives and hedge funds, is considered a plus but is not a strict requirement for the role.
