The company operates as a boutique merchant bank, specializing in the consolidation of off-market platforms, particularly treating professional sports as an emerging high-growth asset class. This role is crucial for supporting a complex, $1.4 billion cross-border consolidation project aimed at assembling a vertically integrated Sports Licensing & Marketing platform across nine jurisdictions. This unique opportunity allows interns to work directly with veteran investors and data scientists on live, large-scale M&A transactions at the intersection of finance and cutting-edge technology, with direct full-time conversion potential and a future partnership track.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Modeling: Build sophisticated financial models, including Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), comparable company tables, and synergy quantification, for active acquisition targets across consumer retail, e-commerce, and manufacturing sectors.
• Workflow Automation: Design and deploy automated data pipelines and research workflows using Python and Anthropic’s Claude AI.
• Analytics Dashboarding: Build real-time analytics dashboards and monitoring frameworks within Palantir Foundry to track portfolio performance.
• Due Diligence: Assist with intense digital and financial due diligence, fact-checking, and comprehensive market research within the $38 billion global sports licensing market.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Recent graduate holding a quantitative degree such as Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Data Science, Math, or a closely related field.
• Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in Excel for financial analysis and a strong grasp of financial modeling fundamentals.
• Skills: Solid programming foundation in languages like Python, R, or SQL; comfort and capability in utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs), specifically Anthropic’s Claude AI, for research and process automation. Possess an obsessively detail-oriented and analytical mindset, coupled with excellent communication skills to translate complex data into clear insights for senior stakeholders.
• Bonus: Proven prompt engineering skills are highly advantageous for this role.
