Finance Rotation Program Associate – 2027 | Capital One

The Tone:
This is a full-time associate role within a two-year rotational program at Capital One, with new hires starting as a cohort in July 2027. Capital One is dedicated to transforming its customers’ and clients’ relationship with money and finances through a collaborative environment where every voice matters. This program serves as a career accelerator, established in 2005, designed to develop exceptional college graduates into future Finance and Capital One leaders. Associates will gain hands-on experience in two distinct roles across various US locations, participating in a hybrid working model.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Forecast: Develop financial forecasts and analyze key performance metrics to provide meaningful insight into business trends.
• Partner: Play a key role in evolving product and strategy decisions by partnering closely with business leaders and enterprise service organizations.
• Report: Oversee accurate and timely management, regulatory, and U.S. GAAP reporting, schedules, and documentation.
• Innovate: Continually evaluate new ways of working through experimentation and leveraging new technologies to solve business problems.
• Develop: Build proficiency in financial modeling, data and reporting automation, as well as data visualization tools.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing or recently obtained a Bachelor’s degree or higher, expected to complete by July 2027 or earlier, with a preferred major in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a relevant field.
• Experience: None required beyond the degree, as this is an early career rotational program designed to provide hands-on experience in two distinct finance roles over two years.
• Skills: Strong quantitative, analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual abilities; effective interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
• Bonus: Demonstrated interest in financial management, technology aptitude, and digital learning; desire for continuous learning, professional development, and diverse experiences and locations.
