What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, analyzing trends in revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and other related areas.
• Develop: Create comprehensive financial models to support valuation, planning, and forecasting initiatives for the company.
• Report: Aid in the production of accurate monthly and quarterly financial reports for senior management review.
• Reconcile: Reconcile financial transactions by comparing and correcting data, ensuring the accuracy of financial documents and reports.
• Analyze: Analyze complex financial information and provide accurate, timely financial recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.
• Manage A/R & Billing: Support the billing process by preparing, reviewing, and sending invoices, alongside monitoring Accounts Receivable (A/R) balances to ensure timely collection and accurate recording.
• Improve: Perform variance analysis, identify underlying financial trends, and recommend specific actions and improvements to enhance the company’s financial status.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in financial data analysis and modeling; excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills; outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills; solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles; ability to handle large amounts of data and meet strict deadlines.
• Bonus: Professional certification such as CFA/CPA or similar.
