The Tone:
This is a full-time role at SNH Capital Partners, located in Austin, TX. This Investment Analyst role is central to the firm’s mission, participating in the end-to-end investment process from sourcing to portfolio management, directly contributing to the ongoing strategy and value creation for the firm and its portfolio companies.

• Mission: Participate in the sourcing, evaluation, execution, and portfolio management of investments, contributing to the firm’s strategy and value creation.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Transaction Sourcing & Execution: Identify, source, and participate in the structuring and execution of new investments and add-on acquisitions.
• Investment Analysis & Underwriting: Lead new investment analysis, diligence, underwriting, and financing activities, including the construction of complex financial models.
• Strategic Thesis Development: Work with the deal team lead to develop and evaluate the investment thesis, conducting comprehensive industry research and market analysis.
• Investment Committee Presentations: Prepare and present detailed investment committee materials, actively participating in firm weekly deal meetings.
• Portfolio Value Creation: Play an active role in portfolio company monitoring and value creation, working collaboratively alongside portfolio company management teams.
• Network Development: Develop a professional network of deal sources, intermediaries, and advisors to support future investment opportunities.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Core domain knowledge in investment banking or private equity, underpinned by strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Experience: 1 to 2 years of prior investment banking or private equity experience, coupled with proven project management experience.
• Skills: Expertise in LBO modeling, a working knowledge of financial statements, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, a robust work ethic, and the ability to be a self-starter in a collaborative environment.
• Bonus: Experience specifically within B2B services; prior exposure to private equity portfolio management.
