• Mission: Support financial planning and investment efforts while gaining insight into the internal and client-facing aspects of wealth management.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support Financial Planning: Collaborate with financial planners to assess client financial situations, input information into eMoney software, and assist with Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) tracking.
• Prepare Client Reports: Organize and summarize living expense data from clients, prepare client-friendly financial reports, and provide analytics on team completion rates.
• Contribute to Investment Strategy: Produce the corporate bond buy list regularly, update the equity summary holding document, and assist wealth advisors with Strategic Asset Allocation Committee materials.
• Facilitate Meetings & Research: Prepare investment and economic information for client meetings, summarize weekly Investment meeting recaps, and conduct due diligence on Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) holdings.
• Attend Learning Sessions: Participate in calls with outside mutual fund managers, attend client meetings, and various department or firm meetings in a learning capacity.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related business field; this opportunity is specifically limited to University of Cincinnati students.
• Experience: Requires strong computer literacy and proficiency in technology solutions, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Skills: Ability to work independently and collaboratively, maintain accuracy and attention to detail, manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively, and communicate professionally.
• Bonus: Prior experience working with Bloomberg, Morningstar, eMoney, or other wealth management systems is a plus.
