Equity Research Associate Analyst – Technology – TRPIM | T. Rowe Price

The Tone:
This is an early career, structured program role at T. Rowe Price, a premier global asset management organization. Located in Baltimore, MD, this hybrid role supports the technology investment team. T. Rowe Price identifies and actively invests in opportunities, providing investment solutions and capabilities to individuals, advisors, institutions, and retirement plan sponsors. This role is crucial for developing future fundamental investment analysts who will provide key insights to impact the investment process.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Research: Conduct company and industry related research projects for the technology sector.
• Modeling: Build and update financial models, including three-statement models.
• Analysis: Assist in the analysis of quarterly earnings for companies.
• Engagement: Attend industry conferences and meetings with management teams.
• Ideation: Perform preliminary research and analysis on new investment ideas.
• Insight: Provide investment insights that actively impact the investment decision-making process.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree required, with foundational knowledge in equity research, preferably in technology.
• Experience: 1–4 years of relevant work experience, with a preference for technology equity research. Previous experience building three-statement financial models is essential.
• Skills: Strong Excel and financial modeling capabilities, creativity, effective verbal and written communication, and demonstrated ability to conduct in-depth thematic research.
• Bonus: A strong academic background, intellectual curiosity, self-motivation, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and completion of at least Level 1 of the CFA program.
