What You’ll Actually Do
• Transaction Execution: Manage the execution of capital raise offerings, including IPOs, follow-ons, and private placements, coordinating with clients, legal teams, and other advisors.
• Market Analysis: Evaluate current and historical market data, company performance, and transaction structures to develop informed recommendations for clients.
• Client Advisory: Prepare comprehensive pitch materials and presentations for Board meetings and clients, assisting in transaction structure and valuation discussions.
• Investor Relations: Support the management of buyer and investor interactions, actively tracking feedback and progress throughout the transaction process.
• Financial Modeling: Model and manage complex transaction scenarios to support strategic and financial opportunities for leading and emerging companies.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Undergraduate degree in business (accounting, finance, economics), technical sciences (engineering, physics), or liberal arts, with a preference for a strong academic record.
• Experience: At least one year of relevant investment banking experience, demonstrating strong exposure to capital markets across debt, equity, and/or equity-linked products.
• Skills: Strong quantitative and analytical ability, excellent problem-solving skills, exceptional written and verbal communication, elevated attention to detail, and the maturity to take on client-facing responsibilities.
• Bonus: Specific product experience in capital markets, private capital raises, or M&A advisory, with a preference for SPAC knowledge. Series 7, 63, and 79 licenses are required at the time of hiring or shortly thereafter, along with US work authorization.
