Creator&Partner Strategy Project Intern (TikTok Shop – Operation) | TikTok
The Tone:
This is a project internship at TikTok, located in Los Angeles, CA, contributing to the rapidly growing commerce industry. TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, with a mission to inspire creativity and bring joy to over a billion global users. The TikTok Shop US operation team is dedicated to building an innovative, secure, and intuitive e-commerce ecosystem, aiming to deliver high-quality products and a unique customer experience. This role supports the scaling of the #TikTokMadeMeBuyIt phenomenon, pioneering content and creator commerce in the US, and bringing discovery, inspiration, and joy back to shopping. Interns will engage in impactful short-term projects, gaining practical skills and real-world experience to deepen their understanding of career interests within an entrepreneurial team environment focused on shaping the future of shopping.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Creator Support: Provide comprehensive support for creator merchandizing efforts, encompassing data analysis, strategic business planning, and internal communications.
• Creator Incubation: Contribute to the incubation and growth of e-commerce creators through educational initiatives, operational assistance, and live stream support.
• Performance Analysis: Conduct business analysis to evaluate the overall performance of the central creator team, covering resource management and strategy formation.
• Content Quality: Analyze creator content quality and traffic metrics, supporting creator governance and enhancing the overall creator experience within TikTok.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Master’s degree in a field such as Statistics, Information Management, Communications, E-commerce, or Marketing.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to manage repetitive tasks with precision and meticulousness.
• Skills: Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets, including data cleaning and fundamental analysis techniques.
• Bonus: Previous internship or full-time experience within an e-commerce business environment.
