Managing Consultant – Corporate Finance – Transaction Advisory | BRG
The Tone:

This role is critical for delivering client service within the Corporate Finance – Transaction Advisory practice, focusing on articulating key financial and business insights for transactions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Support: Support the day-to-day activities of Corporate Finance – Transaction Advisory client service teams executing on buy and sell side diligence engagements.
• Deliverable Preparation: Lead the preparation of reports, written analyses, presentations, and other client deliverables.
• Issue Identification: Assist in identifying issues for purchase price adjustments and potential deal structuring insights.
• Financial Analysis: Utilize business, finance, accounting, and analytical skills to perform tasks including quality of earnings, financial trend analysis, and working capital trending.
• Practice Development: Participate in the development of the fast-growing, entrepreneurial consulting practice, including assisting in marketing, client pitches, and product development.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelors or Masters degree equivalent in Business, Accounting/Finance, Management, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience: 6+ years of work experience, ideally in a consulting or professional services environment, with expertise in financial modeling and analysis.
• Skills: Financial statement review and reconciliations, quality of earnings, quality of net working capital, financial modeling (Excel), and strong problem solving and project management abilities.
• Bonus: MBA or CPA, CFA (or equivalent), or technical/GAAP accounting expertise.
