Treasury Analyst | West Star Aviation Inc.

The Tone:
This is a full-time, on-site role at West Star Aviation Inc., located in East Alton, IL. West Star Aviation is a leading independent Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) provider with over 3,000 professionals, offering comprehensive services including maintenance, paint, interior, and avionics across multiple facilities. The Treasury Analyst plays a critical role in managing the company’s financial health and liquidity, directly supporting the unique operational and capital needs of our MRO business through daily cash management, forecasting, banking relationships, and financial risk analysis.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Cash Management: Monitor and manage daily cash positions across multiple accounts and entities to ensure liquidity.
• Financial Forecasting: Assist in the development of accurate short- and long-term cash flow forecasts for strategic planning.
• Reconciliation: Perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations and reconcile debt and interest payments.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze and report on liquidity metrics and funding requirements to support financial decisions.
• Process Improvement: Participate in treasury system implementations and process improvements to enhance efficiency.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field, with extensive knowledge of general financial accounting, cost accounting, and adherence to generally accepted accounting principles.
• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, or banking functions.
• Skills: Strong analytical and Excel modeling skills, high proficiency with accounting software, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective written and verbal communication.
• Bonus: Knowledge of Corridor and Great Plains Dynamics systems is preferred.
