The Tone:
This is an internship at EquipmentShare, located in Columbia, MO, for the Summer of 2027. EquipmentShare is building something that’s never been built before, transforming an industry stuck in the past through innovative technology and real-time support. This role is crucial for assembling a team that makes a tangible difference by empowering contractors and communities. Interns are expected to embrace challenges and contribute to changing an industry resistant to change.

The TL;DR

• Mission: This person will assist with Procure to Pay special projects, focusing on KPI measurement, process improvements, and optimizing AP monthly accrual entries.
• Tech Stack: Looker, SQL, Python

What You’ll Actually Do
• Assist: Support special projects related to Procure to Pay.
• Establish: Create Looker Dashboards designed to drive KPI measurement and process improvements.
• Document: Record and test Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including managing their repository.
• Optimize: Assist with a project aimed at optimizing the Accounts Payable monthly reversing accrual entry for unprocessed invoices.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Actively working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: A GPA of 3.0 or higher. Knowledge of Accounts Payable and accounting principles. Knowledge of Treasury/Finance principles.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills. A strong desire to take on new challenges with a positive attitude.
• Bonus: Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL or Python.
