This junior investment analyst role is vital for discovering hidden opportunities globally across various industries and for integrating advanced AI tools to enhance investment research and accelerate the process.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Research: Identify and analyze high-quality compounder stocks, with a focus on long-term value creation.
• Evaluate: Conduct deep fundamental research, combining qualitative assessment of business models and management teams with rigorous quantitative valuation analysis.
• Innovate: Help develop an AI-driven investment screening framework using external data and LLMs to surface a focused list of high-quality compounders from a broad equity universe.
• Model: Build and maintain robust Excel-based financial models to assess investment opportunities, leveraging Python to automate data pipelines and support AI framework development.
• Communicate: Clearly articulate investment cases, including thesis, key drivers, upside/downside, and risks, and monitor existing positions as new information emerges.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in investment analysis, equity research, investment banking, private equity, or a related field. 2+ years of individual investing in long-term compounders will also be considered. Significant experience using Python and/or vibe coding with Python for data collection and analysis, equity analysis, and LLM/AI workflows is strongly preferred.
• Skills: Advanced Excel skills; proficiency with Python for data analysis, model automation, or research tooling; solid understanding of financial statements, SEC filings, and key performance metrics; experience building and critiquing valuation models (including DCFs, scenario/sensitivity analysis, and market/transaction multiples); strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity.
• Bonus: Demonstrated genuine interest in long-term investing and compounders through personal investing, prior research, or contributions to platforms such as SumZero, VIC, Seeking Alpha, or Substack. Interest in creative ideas for using LLMs and other AI tools to analyze unstructured data and generate qualitative insights to support the investment process.
