M&D Financial Analyst Intern – OVIP | Oracle

The Tone:
This is a full-time internship at Oracle, located in the US. This role is crucial for supporting the global Manufacturing and Distribution department by handling critical finance and cost accounting activities. Your contributions will help ensure financial accuracy and support strategic decision-making within a vital part of the company.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Provide financial support to the worldwide Manufacturing and Distribution organization.
• Forecasting: Prepare forecasts for the global line of business to aid future planning.
• Close Records: Close monthly account records, including reconciling accounts and researching discrepancies.
• Inventory Audit: Ensure the accuracy of all inventory accounting by performing ongoing audits of activity.
• Reporting & Analysis: Assist in preparing financial reports for upper management and conduct cost-benefit analysis on potential supply-chain changes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level (IC0)
• Experience: Demonstrated skills in Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite are required.
• Skills: Possess good communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Bonus: Completion of basic Finance and accounting courses is desired, and experience as a US Veteran transitioning from active service or a Military Spouse new to corporate experience is preferred.
