This Associate role is crucial for assisting senior team members in originating and executing debt capital raising transactions for syndicated financings.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Execution: Assist senior members with all aspects of originating and executing debt capital raising transactions for syndicated financings.
• Client Communication: Draft pitch books, confidential information memoranda, and lender presentations, including detailed analysis of client business and financial outlook.
• Financial Analysis: Build and maintain financial models for transaction execution, including cash flow forecasting and covenant modeling/testing.
• Legal Support: Support the preparation and negotiation of legal documentation such as fee letters, term sheets, commitment letters, and credit agreements.
• Market Research: Review recent transactions, develop market comparables, and support the identification of potential investors.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting, or a related field. Prior experience in Investment Banking, Private Credit, or Commercial Banking.
• Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience, demonstrating a strong academic achievement track record.
• Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, cash flow forecasting, and covenant modeling/testing. Must obtain FINRA Series 79 (or grandfathered Series 7) and Series 63 licenses within 90 days of employment.
• Bonus: MBA, CFA, and/or formal credit training is a plus.
