Corporate Development Analyst | Mobile Communications America
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Mobile Communications America, located in Spartanburg, SC; Charlotte, NC; or Atlanta, GA. MCA provides wireless communication, data, and security solutions that enhance workplace safety, security, and efficiency nationwide. As the largest Motorola partner in the U.S. with over 60,000 customers, MCA is seeking a Corporate Development Analyst to join its growing corporate team. This role is crucial for supporting new deal execution and general financial analysis, directly contributing to the company’s growth initiatives through potential M&A transactions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Identify: Identify and research potential acquisition opportunities through market analysis and interactions with business partners.
• Perform: Perform financial analysis, modeling, and various valuation analyses for potential acquisitions.
• Coordinate: Coordinate due diligence efforts across legal, finance, HR, operations, IT, sales, and strategy teams.
• Support: Provide support in negotiations, the creation of term sheets, and definitive agreements.
• Prepare: Prepare presentations and reports for senior management on potential M&A transactions and strategic growth initiatives.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: At least 2 years of related experience in transaction advisory, M&A, corporate development, investment banking, or consulting. Previous experience preparing complex financial models.
• Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work comfortably with incomplete information and ambiguity; capacity to take initiative and produce concise, decision-supporting analysis; high degree of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Bonus: Advanced graduate degree, including an MBA; experience with business intelligence applications; experience with enterprise systems and reporting tools.
