Financial Analyst | Primary Residential Mortgage
The Tone:
This is an In Office position at Primary Residential Mortgage, located in SLC, UT. As a mortgage company, Primary Residential Mortgage supports individuals and families in achieving homeownership. This Financial Analyst role is critical for maintaining the company’s fiscal health, providing essential financial insights, and guiding branch and division managers to ensure stability in budgets and profit and loss accounts across the organization.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analysis: Review and analyze financial information to provide actionable recommendations to management.
• Budgeting: Create and continuously monitor corporate budgets, preparing detailed budgetary information for executives and department managers.
• Performance Review: Evaluate and perform comprehensive financial reviews for branch profit and loss statements.
• Financial Guidance: Provide direct guidance to branch managers aimed at improving their branch’s financial performance and achieving successful financial status.
• Strategic Direction: Offer clear financial direction to Division Managers concerning the transition of new branches and the termination of existing branches.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum of 2 years of work experience with a strong emphasis in financial analysis and budgeting.
• Experience: Proven ability to analyze financial data, develop budgets, and deliver content under tight deadlines.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, advanced Excel proficiency, extraordinary attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Bonus: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field of study, prior experience within the mortgage industry, and excellent writing and editing skills.
