Financial Analyst, Property Finance – Dallas Regional Office | Dominium
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Dominium, located in Dallas, TX. Dominium is a purpose-driven leader in affordable housing development and management, operating in approximately 20 states with over 1,300 dedicated employees to help tackle the affordable housing crisis. This Financial Analyst role is a critically important resource, providing insight and guidance to support strategic growth and financial decisions, annual financial planning, forecasting, and analysis across the company. This position contributes directly to the mission of providing quality, affordable homes and fostering strong communities.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Influence Strategy: Analyze and interpret financial data and results to inform and guide business partners on key decisions.
• Report Performance: Generate comprehensive reports and conduct variance analysis on a monthly and ad-hoc basis for various departments.
• Identify Trends: Analyze historical financial performance data across departments to identify key trends and support strategic business decisions.
• Monitor Metrics: Establish, measure, and report on key operational and financial performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and success.
• Support Budgeting: Develop tools and reporting related to property budgets, and contribute to routine budget audits and submissions for partners, lenders, and state agencies.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A four-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required, with a preference for a background in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: One (1) year of relevant professional experience, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience creating dashboards.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and oral communication, strong attention to detail, and eminent business acumen.
• Bonus: An ability to streamline functions and a passion for continuous skillset development.
