What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Guide SPAC transactions from IPO through De-SPAC PIPEs across the entire deal lifecycle.
• Analyze: Evaluate complex financial models and conduct valuation analyses using various methodologies like DCF and comparable transactions.
• Produce: Create and update essential client-facing materials, including pitch books, presentations, and investor decks.
• Investigate: Conduct thorough due diligence on De-SPAC target companies, examining business, financial, and market aspects.
• Document: Assist in preparing and reviewing critical deal documents such as LOIs, term sheets, and SEC filings.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree is required, with a strong academic background in finance, economics, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in investment banking, equity capital markets (ECM), or other relevant capital markets roles. Preference for experience in financial modeling and producing pitch books.
• Skills: Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships; a proactive and detail-oriented approach; and a willingness to obtain SIE, Series 79, and Series 63 licenses.
• Bonus: A genuine interest in financial markets and a desire to contribute to the firm’s culture, alongside a commitment to continuously learn and adapt to the evolving SPAC and investment banking landscape.
