Financial Analyst, FP&A | Rewards Network

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Rewards Network, located in Chicago, IL (hybrid). Rewards Network is a company celebrating 41 years in business, helping restaurants increase their revenue, traffic, and customer engagement through innovative financial and marketing services, and premier dining rewards programs. This role as a Financial Analyst, FP&A is critical for delivering insights on business trends and performance to senior leadership. This position supports effective decision making and strategic planning through clear reporting, in-depth analysis, and strong communication.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Report: Prepare and deliver accurate and timely monthly and quarterly financial reports for senior management.
• Analyze: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial results and key performance indicators to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Support: Assist in month-end close activities and support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Model: Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and perform ad hoc analysis.
• Improve: Automate and continuously improve models to streamline reporting and planning processes to reduce cycle times and improve efficiency.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, with an understanding of internal controls and compliance in financial reporting.
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in corporate finance, accounting, or financial analysis.
• Skills: Strong modeling and analytical skills, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, excellent written and verbal communication, ability to collaborate cross-functionally, continuous improvement mindset for financial planning processes.
• Bonus: Experience with Power Query and SQL, ability to handle large datasets.
