What You’ll Actually Do
• Coordinate: Assist the Finance Manager with the annual budget, monthly forecasting, and overall management reporting processes.
• Generate: Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports and targeted ad-hoc reporting and analysis for business line leaders.
• Analyze: Investigate trends within financial statements and break down complex datasets to provide consumable detailed analysis for department discussions.
• Optimize: Identify, maximize, and leverage functionality within financial systems, including current and new capabilities, to enhance business processes.
• Resolve: Evaluate and promptly address issues and errors found within various systems to uphold the credibility and integrity of financial data.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, business analytics, economics, or mathematics.
• Experience: 0-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or data analytics.
• Skills: Ability to maintain strict confidentiality; strong logic-based, analytical, and decision-making skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint; ability to formulate and execute mathematical formulas and apply accounting principles.
• Bonus: Banking industry experience; Tableau experience; understanding of banking and financial markets, including experience reviewing bank balance sheets and addressing financial and interest rate risks.
