The Tone:

This role is crucial for Altra’s global financial health, supporting leadership with strategic planning and analysis to drive brand growth and operational efficiency. The position serves as a critical partner for the brand’s global leadership team, focusing on short-term and long-term financial and operational aspects.

• Mission: Prepare business performance analysis, reporting, and forecasting to support Global Finance for Altra.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Provide financial and decision-support analytics to the global leadership team to support key business initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and analyze the 5-year rolling financial plan, understanding brand strategy.
• Prepare presentations for executive leadership teams, quarterly financial reviews, and ad hoc requests.
• Model product margins and generate financial insights, developing an understanding of global pricing and cost frameworks.
• Manage the monthly forecast, annual operating plan, and strategic plan processes, including tracking global SG&A budgets.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• Experience: 0-2 years of experience in the FP&A function at a multinational company, preferably in consumer-related or retail industries, with strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Skills: Strategic thinking, problem-solving, advanced knowledge of financial systems, excellent attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
• Bonus: Project management skills, highly organized, strong business acumen including understanding of the product lifecycle, experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools, proficiency in Excel, advanced PowerPoint, and data management/reporting skills.
