Equity Research Associate – Software & Business Services | TD Securities
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at TD Securities, located in New York, New York. TD Securities provides a wide range of capital markets products and services to corporate, government, and institutional clients. This role supports the production of high quality, comprehensive market analysis and research on individual corporations, industries, financial markets, and economic developments, specifically within the Software & Business Services sector. This work helps clients make sound and well-informed decisions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Research & Analysis: Compile, analyze, and evaluate data to produce comprehensive research reports on assigned companies, industries, or financial markets.
• Financial Modeling: Assist in the development of valuation tools and prepare forecasting models for quarterly and annual earnings.
• Client Engagement: Assist in preparing and presenting client presentations, providing advice to institutional clients.
• Market Intelligence: Stay current on market data, economic information, and key industry developments to support informed decision-making.
• Publication Support: Work closely with senior research leads on the ongoing publication of research reports and assist with ad hoc projects.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Undergraduate degree. Requires in-depth knowledge in own domain/field of specialty, particularly in equity research.
• Experience: 2+ years of related experience. Requires FINRA SIE, Series 63, 86, & 87 or willingness to obtain.
• Skills: Data analysis and modeling, research report development, valuation, market knowledge, and stakeholder alignment.
• Bonus: Holds or is working towards a CFA designation. Masters or PhD preferred.
