Finance & Accounting Analyst | Toyota Material Handling
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Toyota Material Handling, located in Columbus, IN (hybrid). Toyota Material Handling North America, comprising Toyota Material Handling and The Raymond Corporation, is an industry leader in forklift sales. In this role, you will be a proactive, curious, and analytical Finance & Accounting Analyst, connecting financial data to business strategy. You will support key financial planning, reporting, and analysis activities to help leaders make informed decisions and drive operational success across the enterprise.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Support financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities across assigned business areas.
• Develop: Develop and maintain financial models to support business cases, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives.
• Analyze: Analyze project financial performance and provide recommendations to improve business outcomes.
• Perform: Perform monthly variance analysis and communicate key drivers impacting results.
• Present: Present financial information and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: 2+ years of related experience, including supporting budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting activities.
• Skills: Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, ability to interpret complex financial information, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bonus: CPA or equivalent certification (or eligibility), experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, R, Python, Cognos, or SAP, experience automating reporting processes and improving data visualization, demonstrated ability to influence decisions through data-driven recommendations, or experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
