Private Equity Associate – Co-Investments & Private Markets | Everet Marsh

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Everet Marsh, located in the New York City Metropolitan Area. Everet Marsh is a well-established investment firm that manages capital across various private markets. This Private Equity Associate role is a critical opportunity to contribute to a broad private markets mandate, gaining exposure to co-investments and fund investments from evaluation through the full investment lifecycle. The successful candidate will work closely with senior investment professionals to analyze and support strategic investment initiatives.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Investment Evaluation: Evaluate private equity co-investment opportunities across a range of industries.
• Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence on prospective investments.
• Portfolio Monitoring: Monitor existing portfolio companies and investment funds.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare investment memoranda and materials for investment committee discussions.
• Strategic Support: Conduct market, industry, and company research to support investment decisions and assist senior leadership on strategic initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record; core domain knowledge in private equity, private markets, investment banking, or a related investment role.
• Experience: 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Skills: Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills; excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Bonus: Experience assessing private equity transactions, fund investments, or co-investments.
