What You’ll Actually Do
• Evaluate & Execute: Help evaluate and execute infrastructure investment opportunities across the energy, transportation, digital, and water and waste sectors.
• Analyze & Manage: Conduct market research, financial modeling, analysis, and overall project management for investments.
• Monitor & Value: Work with the team on infrastructure investments following acquisitions, including monitoring performance of key value drivers, conducting valuations regularly, and assisting with ongoing financing transactions.
• Support Deal Teams: Collaborate with and help support deal team members on new platform investments, add-on investments, divestitures, and related financings.
• Process Opportunities: Process new investment opportunities, ranging from market assessment, to competitive positioning, to initial underwriting and deal structuring.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Five (5) years of experience as an Investment Banking Associate, Investment Banking Analyst, or a related role. Must have five (5) years of experience with infrastructure investing in energy, transportation, digital, water and waste sectors. Demonstrated experience in investment banking and private equity, encompassing M&A, Leveraged Buyout Analysis, Discounted Cash Flow Analysis (DCFs), Restructuring, Comparables Analysis, and Precedent Transaction Analysis.
• Skills: Strong analytical, financial modeling, and accounting skills, including competence with financial statements and in-depth analysis. Proficiency in developing and utilizing models for LBO, NPV, and DCF to evaluate investment opportunities and monitor existing investments. In-depth infrastructure industry and company research skills, specifically producing research on U.S. power and renewables markets, the energy sector, and individual companies. Expertise with forecasting such as operating and scenario analysis, and comprehensive investment underwriting and evaluation analysis using Excel.
