Strategic Finance Analyst | Boomerang Healthcare

The Tone:
This is a full-time, remote role at Boomerang Healthcare, available to candidates located in AZ, CA, NM, NV, OR, TX, and WA. Boomerang Healthcare operates over 20 clinical locations across California, providing specialized care for injured workers, including pain management clinics and Functional Restoration Programs. This role is critical for C-level leaders, driving decisions on capital allocation, revenue growth, and long-term value creation within a complex, growing, and private equity-backed business. The work directly influences the strategic direction of the company and requires a meticulous approach to financial analysis.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Service Line Strategy: Evaluate the viability of new service line additions, identify opportunities for existing service line expansion, and recommend design changes for rehabilitation programs to improve unit economics.
• Payor & Network Strategy: Analyze patient economics and build models to optimize payor relationships, contracting, and marketing investments.
• Investment Analysis & Modeling: Construct three-statement financial models to assess de novo expansion, new market entry, joint ventures, and acquisition targets.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to strategic finance workflows, including the integration of AI tools.

The Must-Haves
• Background: 2+ years of experience in strategic finance, investment banking, management consulting, corporate strategy, corporate development, transaction advisory, private equity, venture capital, or FP&A.
• Experience: Comfortable operating at the intersection of finance and strategy, able to structure problems, build analyses, and clearly communicate recommendations.
• Skills: High intellectual curiosity, analytically sharp, capable of navigating ambiguity, and energized by owning blank-canvas problems. Proficient in Excel for building clean, dynamic, and maintainable financial models, and in PowerPoint for distilling complex analyses into clear, concise presentations for executive leadership and the board.
