The role ensures meticulous tracking, accurate reporting, and efficient processing within a complex alternative investment landscape.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage Valuations: Lead daily tracking, valuation, and marking of alternative investments, including funds of funds, directs, and sports teams using NAV and IRR adjustments.
• Report Financials: Prepare the founder’s daily net worth, P&L, and liquidity report for a multi-billion-dollar portfolio across all assets and liabilities.
• Generate Performance Data: Generate quarterly tear sheets with fund performance metrics, historical data, and commentary using Burgiss MSCI tools.
• Reconcile Accounts: Reconcile trades, cash, and position differences with prime brokers across asset classes including CLOs and private trades.
• Support Deal Execution: Support deal closings by reviewing allocations, verifying documents, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating wire transfers.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a strong understanding of alternative investments and general knowledge of capital activity (NAV, IRR, P&L).
• Experience: 1 – 3 years of experience in investment operations, fund accounting, or a similar role within financial services.
• Skills: Proficiency with Excel; strong understanding of alternative investments; general knowledge of capital activity (NAV, IRR, P&L).
• Bonus: Experience with tools such as Burgiss, Duco, Jira, Canoe, or similar platforms.
