Manager, Finance – eCommerce Marketplace | Walmart

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Walmart, located in Bentonville, AR. Walmart is a global retail company driving significant growth through its eCommerce Marketplace. This role is crucial for someone who will own topline GMV reporting and insights across the business, building the analytical frameworks that help leadership understand performance. It is a high-impact position for individuals energized by the intersection of finance, product, and customer behavior.

• Mission: Own topline GMV reporting and insights, building analytical frameworks to understand and drive business performance.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting Ownership: Own topline GMV reporting and the driver framework across traffic, conversion, and AOV.
• Performance Analysis: Build models that diagnose performance and explain what is moving the business week-to-week and quarter-to-quarter.
• Strategic Partnership: Partner with Category, GTM, and Customer teams to evaluate initiatives and translate insights into clear recommendations.
• Executive Communication: Lead the narrative for executive performance reviews, providing the “so what” behind the numbers.
• Process Improvement: Automate reporting workflows so the team spends its time on insights, not refresh cycles.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: 2 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or a relevant area OR 4 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or a related area.
• Skills: Solid financial modeling and analytical skills, ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, strong communication skills with experience presenting analysis to peers and managers, detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bonus: Experience supporting product, technology, or eCommerce teams, Master’s degree in Business Administration, supervisory experience.
