What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Administration: Provide comprehensive administrative support for assigned projects, which includes processing reports, conducting thorough research, and gathering necessary data for various initiatives.
• Data and Information Management: Prepare and meticulously maintain relevant statistical information, ensuring accuracy and availability for departmental reporting and analysis.
• Professional Document Preparation: Support the department by skillfully preparing professional documents such as agendas for meetings, engaging PowerPoint presentations, and organized calendars for scheduling.
• Logistical and Communication Coordination: Handle essential logistical tasks including reserving rooms for meetings, arranging FedEx shipments, and placing urgent calls as needed to maintain operational flow.
• General Clerical Support: Perform a wide range of general clerical functions, such as making photocopies, accurately scanning documents, and efficiently sending faxes to support daily departmental activities.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). This role is specifically open to current junior, senior, or graduate students actively pursuing a major in any related academic field.
• Experience: While no specific years of prior work experience are required, applicants must demonstrate a proven track record of being detail-oriented, highly organized, and possessing excellent follow-up skills in academic or prior informal settings.
