This is a full-time Housekeeper/Room Attendant role at Carmel Valley Ranch, part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, located in Carmel, CA. • Mission: Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of assigned guest rooms to provide guests with a pleasant and memorable stay.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Ensure: The meticulous cleaning, sanitization, and organization of assigned guest rooms, adhering strictly to Hyatt’s established protocols for hygiene and appearance.
• Prepare: Rooms for guest arrivals and ongoing stays, which includes making beds, replenishing linens, restocking amenities, and ensuring all fixtures are sparkling clean.
• Deliver: Thoughtful and efficient service, focusing on guest needs to cultivate a welcoming atmosphere and provide a seamless, comfortable experience.
• Maintain: A high level of attention to detail across all assigned tasks, ensuring every aspect of the guest room reflects an environment of comfort and pristine condition.
• Communicate: Professionally and clearly with guests regarding their requests and with team members for coordination, contributing to a harmonious operational flow.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Others. Basic understanding of hospitality service and room upkeep principles.
• Experience: No specific years required. Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with and respond to the needs of diverse individuals.
• Skills: A genuine desire to anticipate and fulfill the needs of others, focusing on guest satisfaction. Refined verbal communication skills for clear and polite guest interactions. Clear written communication skills for internal coordination and record-keeping.
• Bonus: Previous professional cleaning experience, preferably in a hotel or similar hospitality environment.
