HR Intern | RRD

What You’ll Actually Do
• Onboarding New Hires: Provide essential support for the seamless integration of new employees into the company culture and operations. This includes preparing comprehensive welcome packets, coordinating and organizing orientation sessions, ensuring all necessary paperwork is processed efficiently, and actively assisting new hires as they settle into their roles and the RRD environment.
• Perform Administrative Tasks: Deliver crucial administrative assistance to maintain accurate and organized HR records. Responsibilities include diligently updating employee information, meticulously filing various HR documents, and providing support in generating essential HR reports for departmental needs.
• Support Employee Relations: Act as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, offering initial responses and guidance on basic concerns. This role involves listening to employee feedback and escalating more complex or sensitive issues directly to HR management to ensure timely and appropriate resolution.
• Provide General HR Support: Contribute broadly to various HR functions, assisting with recruitment efforts by coordinating interview schedules, creating and posting engaging job advertisements, and actively participating in broader HR projects and initiatives that enhance overall departmental effectiveness.
• Fulfill Ad-Hoc Duties: Take on additional tasks and projects as required, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to support the wider HR Department’s objectives and the overall business operations of RRD.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This role is suitable for an entry-level professional or student eager to gain practical, hands-on experience within a corporate human resources department. Candidates should be ready to engage with a wide range of HR functions and contribute to a supportive team environment.
• Experience: No specific years of prior experience are required, as this position is designed as a training program. Experience with general office tasks or an understanding of basic administrative processes is beneficial.
• Skills:
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear and professional interactions with employees and HR team members.
• High attention to detail and accuracy when handling sensitive information and completing administrative tasks.
