Security Officer Customer Care Patrol | Allied Universal

• Mission: Monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents at a logistics and distribution location.
• Tech Stack: Alarm panel, X-Ray screening, computer, tablet.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Service: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by implementing site-specific procedures and access protocols.
• Incident Response: Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts.
• Patrolling: Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including warehouse floors, loading dock areas, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Access Control: Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and deliveries, verifying credentials and adhering to post orders.
• Operational Support: Observe for operational disruptions, damaged property, or policy violations, then report findings through proper channels in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Officer. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience: No specific years of experience are required for this unarmed role.
• Skills: Strong communication, customer service, teamwork, integrity, reliability, problem-solving, observation, documentation, and access control.
• Bonus: Customer service experience, alarm panel experience, comfort using a computer or tablet, and X-Ray screening experience are preferred.
