Talent Intern | Etched
The Tone:
This is a 12-week paid internship at Etched, located in San Jose, CA, and requiring 5 days a week on-site presence. Etched is actively building advanced hardware for frontier intelligence, specifically co-designing chips, racks, software, and manufacturing to deliver best-in-class throughput and latency for inference workloads. This Talent Intern role is pivotal in scaling the company’s growth by supporting the end-to-end talent acquisition process, ensuring a seamless candidate experience, and enabling the recruitment of leading engineers to redefine the infrastructure layer for the fastest-growing industry in history.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Interview Planning: Schedule interviews from start to finish for various hiring needs, managing a high-volume pipeline, and acting as the primary interview planner.
• Candidate Support: Deliver a welcoming and seamless experience for all candidates, which includes greeting them onsite and managing clear, concise, and professional communication throughout their interview journey.
• Logistics Coordination: Handle all logistical aspects for interviews, including organizing onsite interview events, troubleshooting scheduling conflicts, and managing candidate travel and reimbursement processes effectively.
• Operational Collaboration: Partner directly with recruiters, sourcers, and hiring managers to provide essential operational support, leveraging tools such as Ashby, G-Suite, Notion, and Slack to solve challenges.
• Process Improvement: Proactively identify areas for enhancement and implement improvements to the onboarding experience for onsite interviewees, the candidate reimbursement process, and overall scheduling efficiency.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student planning to graduate between May 2026 – May 2027.
• Experience: Prior experience in calendaring, administrative support, customer service, or recruiting roles, with familiarity in scheduling tools.
• Skills: Strong professional written and verbal communication, high organizational ability with task prioritization, and detail-oriented, proactive problem-solving.
• Bonus: Experience tracking interview metrics and proposing solutions, coordinating events with precision, and demonstrating a humble service focus in fast-paced environments.
