This Summer Intern role is crucial for providing direct IT Support, contributing to the seamless operation of various teams and upholding essential privacy and confidentiality standards across the organization. What You’ll Actually Do
• Support Department Operations: Conduct work professionally and responsibly, adhering strictly to all privacy and confidentiality requirements within the designated department.
• Maintain Operational Efficiency: Consistently work scheduled hours and be flexible to meet department needs, including availability for 40 hours per week and occasional overtime when requested.
• Enhance Department Processes: Proactively recognize opportunities, suggest improvements, and assist with the implementation of more efficient departmental policies and procedures.
• Contribute to Special Initiatives: Provide dedicated support for various special projects as assigned and assist with general administrative tasks to ensure smooth team operations.
• Execute Core Tasks: Perform specific duties and responsibilities as directed by supervisors and department mentors, understanding that these tasks will vary based on the supporting department.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student. A high school degree or equivalent is required, alongside current enrollment in an accredited 2-year or 4-year college. Candidates must be 18 years or older.
• Experience: No specific prior experience is formally required, as this intern role is primarily a learning opportunity. Preference may be given to candidates with relevant work experience or those whose educational paths are deemed desirable by the supporting department.
• Skills: Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving competencies. The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.
• Bonus: At least one year of college coursework completed is preferred. Experience working within the Microsoft Office suite, particularly with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is also preferred.
