The Tone:
This is an internship at TikTok, located in Los Angeles, CA. TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, with a mission to inspire creativity and bring joy globally. This role is crucial for scaling the #TikTokMadeMeBuyIt phenomenon and pioneering Content & Creator commerce in the US. By joining the TikTok Shop US Operations team, this intern will contribute to shaping the future of shopping and support the growth of an exciting, fast-evolving business within the Luxury Resale category.

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Location: In-person, Los Angeles, CA
• Pay: $23.75 hourly
• Team: TikTok Shop US Operations team, specifically within the Luxury Resale category.
• Mission: Support the growth of the Luxury Resale category within TikTok Shop by assisting with e-commerce operations, strategy, and data-driven execution.
• Tech Stack: Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, Tableau

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations: Support L2L e-commerce operations within the Fashion industry for the TikTok Shop US team.
• Tracking: Assist with industry tracking initiatives to monitor trends and market developments.
• Partnerships: Provide support for merchant partnerships, helping foster successful relationships.
• Coordination: Coordinate various projects, ensuring smooth execution and timely completion.
• Reporting: Perform data analysis and generate weekly and monthly reports to inform business decisions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Master’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Economics, Data Analytics, Fashion Merchandising, or related fields.
• Experience: Proven skills in Excel/Google Sheets; basic SQL and Tableau are required.
• Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication and coordination skills, effective execution ability, project management capability, and comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
• Bonus: Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and prior experience in business analysis or operational reporting is preferred.
